The Foundation
What is Prenatal Massage?
Prenatal massage is bodywork adapted specifically for the physical and structural changes of pregnancy.
As your body shifts, it can create new tension patterns in the low back, hips, ribcage, neck, and legs. Supportive bodywork can help reduce discomfort and make those changes easier to carry.
Pregnancy changes everything about how the body organizes itself.
This work is about supporting change—not forcing the body through it.
The Method
Why this approach works
The pregnant body is constantly adapting to new weight distribution, hormonal shifts, and changes in movement patterns.
When those changes create strain, the body can start compensating in ways that feel exhausting, tight, or painful.
Prenatal massage works best when it helps the body keep adapting without building unnecessary restriction.
The goal is comfort, support, and more ease in a body that is doing extraordinary work.
What's Different
This isn't standard massage with a pregnancy pillow
Pregnancy changes the body's needs, and the work must change with it.
I'm looking at:
- adapts to body changes and stage of pregnancy
- supports comfort, circulation, and structural ease
- works with the body's changing patterns, not against them
Good prenatal work respects both the sensitivity and the strength of the body during this time.
